Why no 2010's
The economic down turn was in full swing. The 2009's weren't selling (I bought one on Oct. 2009 and payed $87900 on a $111350 SL). MB was giving all dealers 20 grand trunk money to help to get rid of them. So instead of having a backlog of 09's into 2010, they skipped 2010 and named them 2011's so my car was instantly two years old. My good deal kicked me in the behind. I should of sent Mercedes a thank you card, but just sucked it up.
