SL550 2007 battery drain current fuse 71
Hi, I have Mercedes SL550 2007 and I have a problem with the leaking rear battery., I change the battery but I have always 1.86 amp on my multimeter, if I remove the fuse 71, that's drop to .16amp. Do you have a idie what is wrong or if is it normal? The battery was low evrery day when I start the car, I have a trouble " confort convinience disable" for 5 minutes and after it was ok. Thank you and sorry for my english, I'm french people.

Look at the front battery. The rear battery has a DC/DC converter to top up the front, so if the front battery is low it will drain the rear battery trying to keep it alive.

The fuse 71 (f71) is for the PSE (the central locking pump) in the boot (trunk).
Do you you have some other symptoms?
I see you have started another thread.

No other symptoms, but I create another problem when I remove all fuse for determine the problem; after I reconnect the battery, I have a red message on dash "raise rool-over bar" I don't no why, I try to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, but I have always this message (if the roll-over bar was down) , and the roll-over bar work good on manuel mode. but that's another problem and that's problem was not very important for me.
