Controlling navigation volume

Experienced a drop in volume today on my navigation volume. Worked fine then just dropped down so low that I can no longer hear the directions. Checked my books but can't find instruction on how to increase volume. Can anyone provide help? 2011 SL. Gary

You have to adjust the volume while the NAV lady is speaking. That can be tricky unless you make the NAV lady repeat her last instruction. On an '11 E-class there is a button on the steering wheel that looks like a U-turn with an arrow on it. While you are in NAV mode, pressing it will make her repeat the last instruction as often as you want.

If you don't have that button or if it doesn't work on an SL, you may be able to find the NAV repeat function in your comand manual.

Regards,
Don

Don, thanks for the input. I'll try that. I don't have the u-turn button, but I'll do the repeat function until I get the volume back. Gary
