2003 sl 500
SL 500 power seats
I am working hard to understand my 2003 SL. Many thanks to all for past info! I now have a new question. Are the power seats all electric or some form of hydraulic , (vacuum)? I found out the door locks are vacuum, to my surprise, so I am interested in how the power features are put together. Everything is so very quite in the car I can easily imagine hydraulic power.

SL 500 Power Seats
Electric motors are used to move the seats. Only the lumbar supports are adjusted pneumatically.
