I will add to the V12ICpack success stories. Clark was super responsive, the products are superb! He signed the packs and it was deserved! The packs are really beautiful. The car runs perfectly now. I has never turned a wrench on these and the R&R was easy. A few hours with help from my 16 year old daughter and bam. Done. The packaging was easy to repack with the cores and returning was super easy. Just a first class ordeal all around. Next up my VT.

Clark also rents coil packs and control boxes for trouble shooting. Great help for figuring out if it’s the coil pack or the control box.

I used Clark recently. On the plus side, very good communicator. However, it didnt work out for me. After installing the pack he sent it turns out it didnt work and kept giving me misfiring errors. Although he said i could remove the pack and send it back to him (at my cost) and he would try to repair it, he declined to give me a refund. I ended up eating the cost and buying a brand new OEM pack for the same price ($1050 on Autohausaz). I am in a different country and the time and effort in the back and forth (and not knowing if i would be getting a working unit) just wasnt worth it for me.

Clark is great, his website is full of great knowledge. I had one coilpack rebuilt and the car is very happy. If one goes bad, you can have it rebuilt and while waiting for it to return, very carefully remove the other side and replace all spark plugs (24 of them) with the exact correct ones. And positively NO Substitutes!! Worn or old spark plugs can make it more difficult for the coils to power the spark and thereby wear out the coilpacks prematurely or not. With 87K miles I put the rebuilt coilpack in and a few thousand miles later all is good, the second coilpack has not failed. Many M275 owners don't replace the spark plugs because first, the labor cost to replace 24 of them, also it's not a cheap undertaking even buying them direct from NGK they cost about $275 for 24 of them, but after around 40K miles it is a great idea. Just don't break the coilpacks removing them! Clark is a master. His rebuilts are better then new. The way it worked was I bought a transformer atop the engine from Clark and if that fixed the issue then Fine. If not, then it is definitely the coil pack. You get all but $50 back for the transformer when it's sent back, so essentially you've rented it to make sure it's a coilpack failure and not the transformer... All M275 owners should read his entire website. If my second coilpack were to quit, I'd for sure send it to Clark.

Clark at v12icpack is an expert on these coils and all things ignition related. I've installed all of his coil pack and voltage regulator products.
He and a team of engineers redesigned the coil pack manufacturing process to produce the most advanced and reliable coil packs available.
Check out his Xray photos of why the Mercedes coil packs fail.

Clark, the coil pack guru
I am (I think) his newest customer and I’m still looking for adequate positive adjectives to describe my experience with him. A first class pro courteous and at pains to describe the process. I got my repaired coil packs back today and car sounds like it just rolled off the dealership. Took my loving wife on a cruise and we both gave him four thumbs up! I whole heartedly recommend his services.
