Did you have any problem with air and the pump or did you just start the car right up and off you went? From the write up it looks like it all went really great which is great! Congrats. We need more good videos in the forum on repairs.

Pressure Sensor O-Ring Replacement 2003 SL500

So little fluid came out after I removed the sensor that I don't think the ABC system had trouble adjusting. In September 2015 I had all of the fluids and filters replaced. I checked the ABC reservoir recently and lo and behold there's no filter in it!! Off to the dealership tomorrow....

1. At the 2:58 mark your note concludes with this statement: "Note: Bring the unit to the shop and buy at least two 0-rings just in case...."

I respectfully suggest that you substitute the word "Take" for "Bring" in that tag.

2. At around the 3:56 mark ... notes on installing tires: You instruct to "... torque lug bolts to 90 PSI or 130 nm."

I respectfully suggest that your note should read "... torque lug bolts to 96 foot-pounds or 130 nm."

Very nice video. I appreciate the careful work you put into this. Many thanks.

I shall make the necessary corrections (PSI - sheesh). This is why one needs an editor.

It would really burn me to find out they left the ABC filter out!! It seems so hard to get the service you paid for.

ABC Filter change

I phoned the service department and they said bring the car in ASAP. I did and they found the filter had simply disconnected from the screw top and fallen in. They installed a new filter and I was on my way in 30 minutes without charge. (No kidding)

Hey Kaboom could you tell me how the electrical connector comes off the switch? I do not see how this pulls apart. I don't want to damage anything. moretech

I've never seen one like it so I used a small screwdriver to push and pull the tab on the left while pulling all of it until it came off. I broke a small piece off but it came together perfectly after so no harm done. I wish I could be more specific but I was basically working blind as I had no place to hang my incandescent trouble lamp without burning my face or hand. I need to use an LED lamp in the future.

p.s. I drove a couple of hours yesterday on a very windy (whine-dee) road and found no leaks this morning. What a fun car!
