2007 Mercedes SL550 Sport
crackling noise from convertible top
when top is closed, there is an annoying crackling, noise mostly from the convertible top. I've removed the headliner and nothing is loose. I've felt around the arms, etc all around and all tight and no difference in noise when feeling around and driving.
any feedback would be appreciated.

And put it..
...where? I have that slight " chuttle" rattle that i cant find...

Open the top halfway, and apply the lubricant to every rubber seal you can find except the ones that seal at the top of the side windows. Actually, you can do those, too, but it will smudge the glass ans sometimes leave streaks on the glass after it rains, but that can easily be wiped off.
