Hi. Few weeks ago I had a chance to see one of this units at my friends SL500.

What I didn't like :
- GPS is a bit slow,
- sound quality is no good
- hands free (bluetooth) is not good (too much noise).

What I did like:
- Oem look.
- Android OS.
- steering wheel control

For my self I've decided to spend extra 2-3k$ on amps and speakers and redo the whole system.

You can buy either of those (android or the older style) for close to $150 less directly from the manufacture (Haulingan). There are nearly a dozen threads that cover this radio in the R230.

They have their pluses and minus .

I have an android one in my r230 and am glad I made the switch every time I drive the car.

I have looked at several of these and about $500 is a lot cheaper than $1000-$2000 from Crutchfield. The problem I have found is that if I switch - I will lose my Sirius/XM since the Android radios do not support it. Greatly appreciate any info or suggestions. Thanks.
