Ah, just replied to your post about the steering column - read that! I am betting the problem is not the fuse (there's not one for the cigarette lighter anyhow).

The fuse for the cigarette lighter on my 2007 E320 is under the hood drivers side, right up by the wind screen. its a 15 amp fuse and the fuse box is not easy to open. You first have to take of a cover that is over the brake master cylinder.

There is a fuse, and it is f61. On your fuse diagram it is described as "Circuit 15R/30 cutoff relay (K75)". The fuse powers the lighter and the trunk-mounted auxiliary power outlet through the normally-closed contacts of K75.

Incidentally, the K75 relay has two sets of contacts. As noted one is wired to fuse 61 and powers the sockets. The other is wired to fuse 11 and powers nothing. Fuse 61 is on circuit 15, and fuse 11 is on 15R.
