2007 sl 55 amg 2007 cls
disconnect battery to reset computer
having a few issues one the steering column wont go up or down or in or out and getting a weird light about my roll bar not being down the whole way would disconnecting my rear battery reset this

It's worth a try---however a good scan will provide a fault list that you can go and repair.

Check to see whether your windshield wipers work. The symptoms you describe sound like the EIS may have failed.
