SL/R230: Lowering SBC on a SL600

Lowering SBC on a SL600 (I mean ABC lowering)
Hi, has anyone on this board lowered their SL (500, 55, or 600) to European specs via StarDiagnostic before? I want to know if a 1.25" drop from Canadian specs would be advisable. I do not want rubbing problems.

So, anyone has experience with ABC lowering with the StarDiagnostic machine?

We have a SL55 which also has slightly different suspension software settings than a regular SL. Have 19" Brabus Monoblock VI & Bridgestone Potenzas mounted (f/r at 25mm offset). No rubbing or any other issues as the car is still at euro stock height rather lowered more aggressively (for that get the Carlsson module).

Lowered my car using Kleemann lowering module (1.5 inches).
With 19 rims there is no rubbing at all,car is more stable at high speed.
BTW,all work performed by my Dealer.

I agree. The lowering modules are the way to go. I have a Brabus lowering module on my CL55 (7/8" lower) with 19" rims and the stance is agressive and the ride is still very comfortable.

Thank you for all your input. I am getting the SL600 lowered to "Europeon Specs" which is about 1.25" lower than stock. After the mod, the gap between the fender and the tire will be about 0.75". The lowering will be done by a MB tech using StarDiagnostic.
Thanks again!
