SL 550 R231
resonator delete
Did anyone remove the resonator on a SL550 R231?
Are there resonators in front and in the middle?
I wonder if it’s worth doing, not because of a HP gain but do get a nicer exhaust note.
I found this company in Germany who sells fake and modified resonators for €499.

2013 SL550
I did. I deleted resonators first but wasn't loud enough. Then I deleted exhausts and put straight pipes instead.
Sounds much much louder and better (amazing from 3500 rpm). Almost similar with SL63 AMG sound.
Try delete resonators and exhausts together. If you don't like it, you can put them back on and get exhausts
