Tomorrow I will be documenting my experience with OETuning in Huntington Beach CA. I will be doing their tune and I will be getting rid of my resonators. The only bad thing is I will most likely be forced to wait, I don't have a ride out of there!

This will enable me to take lots of pictures and document the process for you guys so you can decide if it is right for you.

BJ has been incredibly helpful to me over the phone and always gets back at me in a timely manner. I look forward to awaking the beast!!!

Tuner cancelled the work due to the employee being out of town. I guess it wasn't meant to be. I run my own business, so for me to get that kind of time off again is not likely. I went out and purchased a few toys instead. I will just leave the SL stock.

I dropped the SL550 off this morning to OE Tuning in Huntington Beach and let them perform their magic on her. They finished it early and were awesome with my timeline (I work a job that requires extreme punctuality). The shop was awesome and this was a total breeze.

On to the performance. Took the car out for a test drive after tuning and I couldn't believe the difference. It was activating traction control at 60+mph. The torque is so much stronger now. On the drive home I got on it a few times on the freeway and it got to 100mph in a hurry. I found myself giggling like a school girl. This motor is so strong and the tuning really brought out its potential.

Did they removed the resonater, how does it sound?

I did not have time to do this mod, in fact the tune has actually made it a lot louder. It sounds mean on star up and under full throttle it sings. This thing is a beast now!

I've got the Renntech tune and know what you mean,
I'm thinking about removing the resonators as well but don't want it too loud.
