Changing default tranny and auto off settings?

Hi Gang!

I have been pouring over the owners manual but I cannot find out how or if I can change the defaults for the engine auto-off or sport transmission mode.

I know its not a big deal, but I would rather have it default to "Sport" mode and to NOT have the engine shut off automatically.

Anyone have a solution?

No on both. Same as all other MB's

Brabus has a module to remember the last ECO mode setting which effectively keeps ECO off, but that will cost you...

Bummer. Seems like such a normal thing to offer the customer.
Again, pretty minor thing, but I would just like to have the car fire up in the mode I want, not what the factory wants.

True. Unfortunately, this has to do with fuel economy & EPA ratings so they have a vested interest.

The transmission mode should have been the same on your S550 though...

Yeah, it was the same on the S550.

However, my yearnings for Sport mode were minimal in the big 4 door versus this new slick beast!

Yup...I'm LOVING this car!
