I am close to ordering this car but I have reservations, from experience, about the low profile tires here in Michigan. Pot holes all over.


On 19" wheels, could you fit 35 and 40 profiles? I believe I just read that standard is 30 and 35.


The dealer offered to throw in a $3,000 dollar insurance deal for bent wheels or popped tires if I bought a 400 now. While shopping at Audi they wanted $1500 for the same thing. Was he inflating the price to make it seem a bigger contribution?


Any info on these issues is appreciated.

That is definitely an inflated price. The Mercedes factory plan is about $1,500 I believe.

This dealer will not admit to that price. Wants nearly $3000. How do you get the truth out of these people??
