Do All MB Dealerships Sell Extended Warranties At The Same Price?
New to MB extended warranties. Is it worth calling around or do all dealerships sell at the same price?
Thanks...

Thanks for the link.
Looks as if the MB warranty does not cover a lot of situations and the two non MB warranty providers each have a boat load of complaints against their lack of payment. I have a lot of time to look but this is dissapointing information.

I hope that someone will jump in based on my understanding. We bought a '14 CPO with 30k on the clock. Because it's a CPO, we got an extra year of bumper to bumper, with unlimited mileage. Here's a photo showing that from my Mercedes me site.
We were told at the time of purchase that we could extend the bumper to bumper for 2 add'l years to March 2021 for $3,500.00. If we didn't buy then, it would cost an add'l 15% to buy it prior to March 2019. As far as I can see, this is all bumper to bumper, so the coverage is just as if it was new. Again, hopefully someone better-informed will confirm this view or set me straight.

My experience, although not with the SL but with the CLK, is that different dealerships offer the extended warranty (ew) for different prices. I shopped around and found a savings of about $400 on a $2000 ew. I also believe that if you sell the car, before you use the ew, you can get your money back on it.
