My SL450 is Finally Home
Earlier this evening, I picked up my 2017 SL450 -- which had been on order since June. Attached are a few pictures. For those who might be curious, the paint is Selenite Grey Magno (matte finish) and the leather is Saddle Brown Nappa.
The car drives like a dream, the engine sounds fabulous (throaty and gurgling), the comfort is amazing, and the vehicle overall is a technological marvel.
For those wondering how much -- let me just say it was "North of $100K", but one gets a lot for the money.

i really like the tan leather - but it only suits certain colours..........
my Mrs got a brand new(UK SL400) Brilliant blue - with black leather
there were no choices it was already there at the dealers - but with a HUGE discount!
We love it!!!

That was a long wait. I hope you love it as much as I do my '16. Every time I hit the start button it makes me smile. I have 5500 miles now and just want to keep driving it. I'm not a matte finish fan but your combo looks great. It just needs more of the saddle material and less black. ENJOY!

Congratulations on your new baby. I was thinking of ordering my '17 SL450 with the Gray Matte finish also, but ended up chickening out and ordering it with Gray Metallic paint and the Bengal Red/Black Nappa leather interior with the Satin brown Poplar wood trim. The car was ordered about mid-last month and will be here in time for spring. Can't wait. Good luck with your new car.
