HELP required - where do these hoses go?

Hi Everyone! Would really like some advice and pointers if someone's keen to help. Much appreciate any hints I just bought a 1983 SL 380 sight unseen in FL and shipped it to EU. Now that I "unwrap" it there are some things to fix, of course... Have some vacuum hoses missing as well as another pipe that I think looks like a break or AC system pipe. Below are three images labeled that I hope will make it easy to comment: Picture one is from the left side of the car looking down by the firewall. Carb to the left. This hose comes from..well, I haven't climbed underneath to find out yet. On picture 3 the hose connector on the right has its own little air filter separate from the main intake filter. Feels like I should know where this goes but I haven't tinkered with an engine like this in years...

I wish that I could help - I really do. I know they hate it when we do this, but try posting in the 107 forum on Benzworld.org. They have a whole collection of vacuum diagrams that they've been collecting. I know the 380SL is included. Plus, the regulars love to tell you what you're doing wrong!!

Hi: I have an 1985 380SL and I could look and take a picture of the same area that you posted, then you can see what is missing. As soon as it stops raining here, maybe tomorrow I will do that for you.

I know there's a correct diagram for your car. Go thru them slowly & you can get the hoses back in shape promptly.

I was hoping someone here would either send me some pictures, diagrams or tell me what I am doing wrong. was hoping for exactly the person you are referring to, but maybe they are more on "the other forum"...
