Em Bee Lover

I have '76 450Sl w/ 14" chrome wheels. I lost two wheel "center caps", the insert at the outside center, of the wheel covering the hub nut.

I cannot for the life of me find plastic "chrome faced" center caps. I have exhausted eBay and others and all I find are the current ones.

All direction and help appreciated, as to where to find these. Wheel looks weird w/o the cap.

I removed my plastic ones and replaced them with cast metal and had them chromed. apparently early models were fitted with metal ones but at 250k's/hr could cause some damage if they came off. MB I believe stopped making metal as a safety precaution. try a wrecker for some old ones
