Replacing american with euro headlights
Hello,
Please I would like to know if it is easy to change the front headlights of my r107 American version by the European square-designed headlights (wiring, plugins... and is it necessary to change also the large American bumpers)? Does it fit?
Thank you

Hi guys, I think the Euro headlights are much more beautiful!
I thought the signal lights on sides will match. Those has to change as well?
Also, looking for a pair of euro lights. Please let me know any good deal.
Cheers,

Before you start spending heaps of cash converting....here is what I did recently.
Although on the road & going I am not quite finished/satisfied as I want to have better poly carbonate lenses molded to replace the currently 'modified' glass.
These are Hella 90 projector lights off US Amazon [about $200].
They provide fabulous lighting & are street legal if done properly.
I reversed the cutoff plate in the new low beam lights to get a pattern suitable for RHD. Doesn't need to be done in LHD countries like the US.
These projector lights would fit even better & more easily in the US setup than in the Euro.
All stainless steel & glass profiling was water jetted [$110].
Just be careful of Hella's internet sourced template as it gives the WRONG size for the 4 mounting holes for each light [should be 9.5mm [3/8"] not 14mm].
You only need to cut 3 mounting holes for each light.
2 @ the top with the bottom hole toward the kerb side.
Otherwise the 2 stainless plates are a mirror image
Also US Amazon sourced & fitted were 2 Phillips Daylight 8 [$110] daytime running lights that dim when the headlights are turned on [to be legal this is needed with LED DRL's]
I removed the fog lights permanently & things look cosmetically better.
