Heating issue

I have a 1988 560 sl and have put about 7000.00 in to the vehicle. I was having issues with the heat coming on then after a couple minutes it would stop blowing. If I turned it off and waited a few minutes and turned it back on it would blow, but even that was inconsistent. I took to the dealership and after having the dash pulled they replaced an acutator and a monovalve. At the time I also had an issue with the center vents not working when the AC was on. All of this was corrected so they say after 3500.00 in repairs. Once again as I was driving I turned on the heat, it blew then suddenly stopped. It would not work in the high fan or low fan and the recirculation button would not work either, I would not get the red light on the button. When the blowers do come on then the recirc. button will light when pressed. I need some good advice, I am not rich, the car was left to me by my father and has sentimental value, but the cost is killing me. Any ideas of what is wrong so I can go to the dealership with an educated guess on what they might need to do.

Thanks for any input.

I had same type of issue. I checked all the know issues and then sent out the push button climate control panel. All is good now.
