560sl hard starting when hot
i hope someone can help with my problem!
i just bought a 1989 560sl with low mileage, the car had been sitting for a few years and needed a bit of work, iv completed most of it but im stumped by one problem, it doesnt want to start after it has been driven and gets hot. it will start right away when cold and if i start it soon after its warmed up like say about five minutes it will start right away, but if i wait longer than that it takes forever to start! when it finally starts it runs rough for a few seconds but clears up. i have changed all of the ignition components including cap, rotor, wires and plugs, fuel filter, to no avail, it still starts hard when hot. if any one has had the same problem or knows what i have to do to fix it please get back to me. my e mail is vin142@aol.com, thanks very much

One thing to check is fuel system pressure. I had that problem on an old BMW 320i that was caused by a leaking check valve in the fuel pump.
