SL/R107: '84 380SL Sunvisors Removal?

'84 380SL Sunvisors Removal?
Greetings everyone. We bought an '84 380SL last week....loving it, as you'd expect. But, being a tall guy, I want to remove the sunvisors. I popped the plastic clips (inboard), and removed the screws where they pivot (outboard). But even with gentle prying, I couldn't get them free of the w/s header. What's the trick? Thanks!
