FS- 1972 350SL (euro)
The time has come to sell my '72 (real) 350SL we brought over from Belgium in 1984. EPA and DOT was done at that time, but car sat for years before I started bringing it back.
Rust is minimal, euro bumpers, but NA lights. Exterior was painted badly, bamboo(original) interior. Many new parts including muffler, timing chain, water pump, rear sway links, intake gaskets and seals. Only thing that kept me from getting it back on the road was it needs a D-jet fuel pump and injectors cleaned. Distributor cleaned and inj points in excellent condition. T-body cleaned and throttle switch excellent as well. Newer console to replace brittle original as well as newer hardtop with stand.
Truly a euro as it has crank windows, MBtex seats, no air, and driver only manual mirror. Currently has vintage BBS style mesh 16" alloys. Hate to sell, but it's time to move on. Car is worth far more than the asking price in parts alone, but can be road worthy again for less than other projects. Not drivable and must be towed. Located in Anaheim, CA
