88 560 SL
lubercating latching pegs on conv top?
I am replacing the plastic grommets that go around the holes the latching pegs turn into, do the pegs need to be lubricated? a heavy grease maybe.

SOLD both: 1987 560SL 2003 ML320
I've used grease on them, but only a very light, wipe on / wipe off coating.
