Finding specialized servicer

My husband and I purchased a 1986 Signal Red 560SL today and want to find a servicer in our area--Sacramento, CA--to take it to. Beyond wanting a regular check-up and inspection, we'd love to start a relationship with someone for labor and replacement parts with an eye to preservation and restoration as well as safety and function. There are of course dealers in the area who come recommended, but are there any forums or sites you'd suggest for classic car specialists? Or, if any of you are local, do you have a suggestion in Sacramento?

Thank you!
