1979 450sl hard start when warm

I have a 1979 450sl . Starts fine runs fine after the car is warmed up and driven and stopped it is very hard to restart. I have seen posts recommending a fuel accumulator and check valve replacement . Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes. Common symptom of a failed accumulator.

Got the same problem, normally solved by flooring the gas pedal to enrich the fuel mix, my car usually starts, but not w/o some difficulty. Obviously, is something that should be addressed. It's probably related to a temperature sensor relay that would normally enrich the fuel to air mixture when the engine is not in a cold state. But don't quote me on that, it's just my mechanical intuition at play.
