380SL Odometer working but reads .8 miles for each mile driven
Recently bought car and noticed that the odometer was running intermittently but now is steady. But it reads .8 miles on a measured 1 mile run. Took the odometer apart and all gears seam to be okay. I did notice, however, that the small circuit board in the assembly had some of the circuit traces cut and 2 jumper wires installed. Is this normal or has it been tampered with?
