1988 560 sl brake question

I have an issue with my brakes, when I drive my car a few minutes the wheels get really hot, especially the front .could this be because of the alloy wheels and is this normal

might be master cylinder or calipers, if all the wheels get hot i would lean toward master cylinder

hot brake

the wheels will carry a lot of brake heat.
however, check the caliper pistons for binding.
go for drive and jack up immediately. if wheel binds calipers are corroded.
also move each piston with pry bar to check for bound piston or pads.
Sometimes the pads just need clean and lube on metal sides with lithium or brake paste
no one changes brake fluid as they should every 2 years. I remember the 560 cal as one that would like to bind up.
the master cylinder would only cause both rear wheels to bind up due to inter nal valving. very unlikely the front or never seen fronts. seen plenty of rear locks.
those r some pricey calipers if memory serves me well
