2015 GL 550, 1988 560SL
New Keys for 560SL
I just bought a 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SL, and the owner only had one key. Where can I get a copy or additional keys for my car?

I will give it a try this week. Also, is there different kind of keys for the 1988 560SL. I hear some people talk about a "Valet Key", others talk about keys having a red dot or black dot. My sole key has a red dot. What does that mean?

Yes there are different keys. The red dot key is the master key. Opens all locks. Replacement key will not have the red dot. Valet key only works in the ignition and doors. It has a round head. 560SL owners manual also shows a flat key with red dot to be carried in your wallet.
