guys your help required before i pull my hair out
fitted a new battery tonight,the one in the boot,have managed to reboot everything except date and time,the date shows 2003 and the time will only adjust in 30 minute intervals,please help my car has sat nav and command and it says something in the manual about resetting via the radio and turning off the gps to allow the date to be set is this correct,if anyone could take the time to do a step by step for me i would really appreciate it,as i want to go to germany tommorow and would like the clock to be correct,thanx again.

Simon, if your car has SAT nav, then take it outside and wait until it aquires satellite signal. It will then set the date and time. You may have to go into the Comand System menu to change region settings.

I have this same issue in 2016. 2004 SL55AMG
I assume that if I turn off the satellite icon I will be able to adjust my clock.
This came up due to clock being one hour off during shift to Easter Standard Time.
