Stalling Problems after CPS replacement
I had an issue with stalling and then a crank but no start so I did some research and learned the usual culprit is the Crankshaft Position Sensor. So I picked up a new one and put it in. It fixed the crank no start issue but now I can't rev past 2000 rpm without stalling. The car starts right up every time now but still throwing P0335 code after CPS replacement. What is causing my stalling?

Are you using a genuine MB CPS or aftermarket?
The factory CPS replacement service procedure details initialization via STAR/DAS following installation of the new sensor. However, when I did some searches everyone seemed to have no issue just swapping it out and running the car as is - except for those who <tried> an aftermarket sensor.
If you are using an aftermarket sensor, I would first try a genuine one. If that does not help or the sensor is an MB part, you may have to visit a dealer or Indy with SDS for the initialization
Check/clean the CPS connection again as well

It is an aftermarket sensor. Pretty much whatever I could buy that day. I'll order an OEM and try that. Do you happen to know if Bosch is OEM?

stalling no start even with new crank position sensor
Hey guys I found the culprit on this 05 e320 i had a car come in with no start and got p0335 cps code and replaced the cps. Next day car came back in with no start again. i retraced the wire and found no problem then as i moved the connector as the car is cranked it will sometime start or wont start i looked at the inside of the connector and that female spade is wider then it seems I bend the tabs closer together with a pocket pick and it starts everytime.
