Keeping SL55 cooler?
Was out for a rip today, exterior temps in the low 90's, (34c) and the car was getting warm...not hot, mind you, but the temp had definitely moved up away from the 90c she usually sits at....had to shut off the a/c, run the heater and take her for a gentle ride down the highway...also the s/c was intermittent...
Any way to get her to run cooler? water wetter work or is it snake oil?

Make sure cooling system is ok. Possibly flush and check fan is working. Change water pump with latest Bosch as original is useless. Also fit secondary ic heat exchanger to help with cooling.

What John said and do the -10 mod with star das along with water wetter to keep engine temps in check. Just to elaborate on Johns comments a bit, the bosch pump is for the intercooler. You may need a new one.
