Raise Facility.
On my SL65 I have a button to raise the car 1 red light or 2 two red lights.
My car is lowered with links, my rims have just been repaired, potholes ,
lower profile tyres, and lowered have been blamed.
So if I drive with one light on the raise button will that give the car more
suspension travel, which might help them being bent again.

AFAIK, it's not going to raise any higher than your links will allow. Maybe you should look for an adjustable module?

You can have it raised all you want but with a 20" wheel and a 25 series tire you are going to get a bend when you hit a pothole at a reasonable speed, 35mph or more. Best advice is watch the road to avoid manhole covers and potholes. I have a 25 series out back and once these tires are shot I'll be going with a 30. 25 is just not enough tire.

I don't think going to 30 profile will make much difference, I put my stock
wheels on whilst my 20" were being repaired, they are 30 profile, I didn't
feel any difference. Maybe we should fit 50 profile, sure would be
comfortable, if a little strange looking

pump, and now I have to fork out for coil packs plus fitting.
A lowering module would be another grand, would they help to stop wheels
getting bent, and a comfortable ride, AND lower the car.

You said "feel different" but did you bend those wheels with the 30 tire? I'm not saying you still won't bend a wheel, just gives you a little more coverage for the road hazards you miss.

Yes I did bend one, but just one, I agree they are possibly slightly stronger,
but another 5mm of sidewall doesn't seem to make the ride much better.
Just have to drive like a racing driver, not fast, just quick reactions to
avoid the dreaded pot hole

SL 55 and a GT 3000 vr4 Here's my car: http://home.online.no/~ludvs/index.cfm
sound 8, it is very wise to atleast go with one red light to avoid (help), the suspension and tires when you hit a pothole. It's even better ofcourse with it fully raised, it helps ALOT.
I have 20 inch with 25 profile, to go stock with 18 inch would not be nice, you have to suffer for the beauty!
If it's in standard, no lights, the suspension will crash with the slightest hole in the ground.
The roads in here in norway is probably as ****ty as in uk, so this is the look I have when driving on unfamiliar roads.....
Good luck with your car, hope it's gonna be fixed soon!

Yes Rune I think one red light is good, don't forget the car lowers itself
over 50 mph, but you can't expect petrol heads to run along side your
car just to see it lower.
I hope a lowering module does a better job.
