2005 S55 AMG Loud roaring noise from engine
Hi I went to test drive and sign the papers today to buy a 2005 S55 AMG. Every time you go to accelerate there's a loud roaring noise coming from the engine area on the left side. It resonating so bad I had a terrible headache after driving it about 10 miles trying to figure out what was making all the noise.
My best bet is the bearing in the Super Charger??? Have any of you that own this model ever heard a noise like this and know what it is? I'm pretty sure this isn't normal. The car runs and handles great, I just couldn't deal with the noise.
