2007 sl55 AMG 030 rotors and pad replacement

Just got a 2007 sl55 with the performance pack, I was looking around at reviews onthe car and saw the brakes and rotors are a costly repair . My question is , are there any aftermarket parts for these cars? Also , all my Bmw vehicles that I recall had the brakes and rotors replaced at the same time , never just the pads. Would this be the case for this car as well ? Generally speaking about how long do the rotors last ( miles) before they need replacing ?
Thanks for any help

Only aftermarket replacement is racing brakes. The brakes you have are 2 piece brembo brakes that's also used on the SL65 as standard brakes. Or you can go to

https://www.mercedespartscenter.com/...?siteid=215720

And get them off about 25%. It's a dealer in Kansas.

Front's only last about 40-70k depends how you drive, rear can last up to 100k np

You wont need replacing until you get a visit workshop for brakes.

So then it is possible to just need new pads and not the whole rotor and pad set up??

Thanks again

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
how many miles are on it, you dont need to replace the rotor unless it needs it, there is a wear limit thickness. from my experience you may get away with 2 sets of pads to 1 set of rotors
