Performance pack front discs.

Does anyone by chance have any details of the discs for the SL63?

Ideally the exact dimensions I have used a company called Tarox for the discs on my Phaeton and they make bespoke discs of a very very high quality. I understand they make a bespoke front disc for the SL55 AMG but when I enquired they had no details of what size etc the PP discs for the SL63 were so it may be the case that an alternative may be available. As it seems the PP discs are expensive maybe because there is a monopoly on their supply.

if its a regular SL63 it should have 360mm dia rotors, if it performance pkg it has 390mm. dont know the thickness. If you are having someone making these custom, you should send them the old rotors first and let them do the measuring. Let them do the figuring and check all the thicknesses and let them be responsable . Or get a new one, check it, measure it, then return it.

Thanks, ideally I need to get hold of a used one to send them. I think the company would hopefully manufacture them as an alternative.

Point taken.
Am I right in thinking there is no alternative to the genuine article?

In the UK I have been quoted some silly prices from main agents. My car doesn't need them yet but I'm looking ahead. Can you point me to any retail sources.
As I mentioned in my post Tarox make some superb bespoke discs I bought a set for my V10 Tdi Phaeton and the quality is superb.
