I completely understand. Rocks, gravel... people using leaf blowers, weed eaters throwing **** into the road.

Drives me nuts

I feel your pain! I've got new wheels and tires heading my way. I'm done with the 25 sidewall.

Yeah ! if it's not potholes, it's rocks, kerb's, drain edge like a knife, and would you believe it a can of paint. Apart from the wheels I have a wide body
front apron, I would go ape if a rock hit that.
So I am changing from 305 25 21 to 325 25 20 and hope this might help
as well as give a more comfortable ride.

It could be worse, a month or so ago a fence company trailer lost an eight foot post with concrete on one end. Cars on both sides, no where to go, thru the front bumper and out the left front wheel. Up to 8k damage so far and counting. My insurance company actually asked me if I chased them down.

The only bright side is the insurance company is replacing everything with new OEM parts. Fortunately I've worked in the car repair business all my life and speak the language.

I'm getting new front struts and a new pump so that's something. I'll keep the car until the wheels fall off so resale isn't an issue.

The 25 series tire is what is killing your wheels and ride quality not the tire width. Jump to a 30 tire and you'll notice the difference.
