Blue smoke on start (only on previous short cold start/stop)
Hi!
Little histroy about the SL55(R230) first, it's a 2003, 78k miles regularly serviced and well looked after, always mercedes oils and mechanics and it's my daily driver,
Normally, when I start it, there's no smoke, ever, if the car has been left overnight or for a few days.
However, If I start it and let it run for about 5-10 seconds, then turn off the ignition, let it rest for 10 minutes, and restart, I'll get a fair amount of blue smoke out (not all the time, but most times it will do this).
I did read up about not needing to worry about this if it happens when stood overnight, but as it's a short run I thought it would be prudent to check just in case.
I'm *guessing* it's likely valve oil seals letting stuff through when cold?
