My roof had been working fine with no issues but when I tried to put it down yesterday it showed the picture of the roof opening on the dash but a message came up saying "please wait" "see operator's manual". The trunk divider is in place, the battery warning has not come on for the consumer battery, yet it won't open from either of the switches.

Appreciate any suggestions....

I should have mentioned that the two panels in the trunk that sometimes get lose are still tight and making their connections.

Check the pump in the trunk you might be low on fluid.

After running through the car wash yesterday it mysteriously started working again??? I"ll check your suggestion if if fails to work again,
