Cracked Piston or Piston Ring M113 55K
A month and a half ago, I replaced my engine which was consuming too much oil (1 Liter every 200 KM). I drove the new engine put in the car for 1400 KM, with not a single liter drop in the oil level.
Last Sunday, My friend and I were cruising, and I parked the car for 2 minutes to buy something from a shop. I don't know what exactly happened, the car started shaking, I turned it off, and then started it, and a huge amount of white smoke came out of the exhaust.
What happened? I still don't know. The oil level was all fine, and the oil used was 5w50 Synthetic Racing.
Tomorrow the mechanic will take the engine out of the car to check what happened, but he said its most probably the piston ring because the car still starts.
What can crack a piston or piston ring? Did it happen a lot before?
Gas used is always RON 98.
The air filters are in a bad condition.
Its too sad that I lost 4,500 USD in 6 weeks.

If it is white smoke that is coolant...and is likely a head gasket. If the smoke was a blue-ish/white, then it is oil and can be a lot of things like a valve stem seal, piston ring, etc.
Good luck.....I hate that feeling when you know something has gone horribly wrong but not sure what.
