Hi guys,
I've got a 2005 SL55 AMG - and went through a severe wind storm - strong crosswinds - anyway, I noticed the center screen in the lower bumper area in front of the intercooler must have gotten blown off during the wind. I'm looking for a replacement if anyone has one they can part with. Part number is 2308850053.

That is really bad news. Hard to find used although here is a guy selling the set of 3 for close to 300 shipped http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-BEN...-/281733226872 ... you could likely get back most of the cost by selling the fog surrounds.

Thanks for the reply, Chris. I was just hoping someone had one laying around they didn't need - but I guess not. Thanks for the tip about the clips - I probably wouldn't have thought of that until I got the screen and went to put it on - looks like a couple of mine have broken off.
I guess I'll be checking out the ebay stuff more often.

Hi George, someone may have one lying around but I would not let that hope keep you from looking elsewhere.

On those clips, aside from being "broken off" they can also be missing the small locking tab, so you should inspect them closely (you don't want this to happen again).
