Underside of my front bumper has some scrapes from prior owner, and I purchased the correct spray can paint to attempt some repair. I suppose I could do a quick spray on the area itself and be done with it or completely sand down and do larger area job. Since it is under the car, maybe just the quick job would be fine. Anyone have experience fixing up that area?

I would say not to do it, because when a pro or experienced person sees it, he'll know it wasnt done professionally. But if you do touch it up, Id use a brush and just fill the scratches. If you have to spray it no matter what, then you need to wash all the wax and film with body prep, and compound the whole area, then wet sand with 400 or 600 the area you are going to paint
