2004 SL55

i am a very happy owner of a 2004 SL55 with 50Km on the clock.
i would like to get an opinion on the hydraulic suspension issue.
so far i have not had any problems with the car. it has never been driven in the winter.
Mostly highway Km's.
Many thanks and cheers to all.
Ed

If the system is maintained, it is very reliable.

If only the dealer worked on it, I bet the ABC fluid has never been changed/flushed

flush your ABC fluid and change the filter every 20,000 miles or so and keep an eye on the high pressure hoses and change any that start weeping around the fittings. Address any ABC issues as soon as they appear. This is the best you can do but should keep the system quite reliable.

My dealer's records showed they did the hydraulic flush and filter at 20km. had it done now at 52km (kilometers). there were no visible signs of leaks in the suspension system except for a slight rear transmission seal leak. this was fixed as well.
Thanks very much for your advice.
Cheers, Ed
