2003 SL55 AMG
Newbie looking to build high 10's sl55
Newbie here! I recently purchased a 2003 sl55 with 22k on it. I love this car, I have had plenty of fun cars, pro street s-10, muscle cars, e46 m3, crotch rockets, but this car by far fulfills a luxury ride, sexy looks, and is super fast! My wife has a cls55 and I loved the motor, so was hooked.
It has a eurocharged stage 1 kit which is a crank pulley, heat pump, and tune. K and N air filters. Belt wrap kit. I also purchased an updated eurocharged ecu/tcu tune and a throttle body not installed yet. It has lowering links which I purchased a lowering model to swap them out. I removed the secondary cats and resonators.
I am looking into kleeman headers, air box, intake, fuel injectors. Am I missing any other basic bolt ons? Also if anyone is selling these used let me know, I am always up for a good deal.
My eventual goal is high 10's trapping mid 120's on slicks. Any feedback on my build is appreciated!

Kleeman headers you'll need to put the secondary cats back on, unless you don't mind exhaust stink (which isn't very luxurious).
PLM headers perform about the same as Kleeman, and you keep the factory cats.
