anyone autocross?
Man...let me tell you guys. I autocrossed for the first time in my SL65 yesterday...it was a blast.
I have autocrossed in my NSX before plenty of times but this was a whole another level.
The porsche club of Chicago are truly a bunch of wonderful guys and I had a great time. I ran a wonderful winding long track in 4 runs. 77 s, 72s, 68 s, 65 s...then i had to leave but it was fun. Car was heavy but it pulled it weight and felt very nimble...not all all what i expected. Going straight gets boring after a while. ..

We ran our S55 at a SCCA NT in Patterson, CA. It was fun but not competitive.
On 10-17 & 10-18 we are bringing our SL55 to the same place for an American AX just for fun.
