SL65 AVG Temp you see
What temp to you see on the digital readout that flashes till it hits 80 then goes solid? I've noticed regardless of outside temp mine is always between 99 and 106 and have seen 118 in 110 degree heat going up a mountain pass.
The bad thing is after 96 the car seems to lose power. Anything from 80 to 96 and its scary power.
Would updating to that newer coolant pump part number help this?

Same cluster as the speedo. you may need to click through the readouts to find it. it flashes till it hits 80 degrees. It does that because that is temp when your forged pistons seat well and you are not supposed to put any duress on the engine until it get there.

I looked around and didnt find anything for temp in the menus.
I even resorted to the manual and there was no mention of a temperature reading. Please post a pic. Maybe that will help find it.

2009 SL63 has this menu. Needs to heat up and stop flashing before race start can be used. I know the SL63 isn't comparable to the 65 but I typically run between 100 - 105.
