Good advice shardul, thanks. I was wondering about that. Are people generally going with AutoZone's for the warranty and price?

Are the non-OEM units remanufactured or new? My car only has 4000miles. But I would like to know for the future. Are there any loss in performance going with the non-OEM? I understand they come from the same factory. But I've seen manufactures with different quality come out of the same place...

Certainly! I'd tried to find out more about these, but got no response. They (coils) may come from the same factory, but have wide price ranges, lol. I tried to purchase from AutoZone, but at checkout said they were no longer available. Eurocharged is going to price me some. Oh, and a mile from their shop I had a flat. Of all the luck.

The coils are all on eBay with 800.00 added to the price of each one . Oreilly auto parts and rock auto have similar deals (lifetime warranty)

Thanks! I didn't think of eBay. I'll see what Eurocharged comes up with and proceed from there. Definitely good to know.

You had a nice list of goodies, what were the results? I'm curious to see the before and after of the killer chiller on a few back to back pulls. Regardless, you should have a nice setup.

Thanks! They still have it. I ended up needing coils, which I was going to suggest anyway. While they were doing that they found a small oil leak in one of the valve cover gaskets. Don't know if that was going to take some time or not to get in. Plus a new set of front tires, damn the luck. They've been quiet the past week and I don't want to be one of "those" customers, lol. Plus it being the holidays and all... They may be laying low because I sent a few "for the record" requests regarding install so there wouldn't be any potential misunderstandings when I go to pick it up,ha. Just things like tidy trunk tank install on top of carpet and insulated lines where possible. Also, in the forums I'd seen it recommend that the killer chiller be mounted with flat side up/upside down so to speak. It's the turbo back exhaust that's going to take some time. I did ask for a baseline dyno, so I'm looking forward to that and of course the "after".

That is a long list, but I'm sure they will have it back much quicker than some places. Good luck!

I'm getting ready to do Killer Chiller as well. Are you going to delete your heat exchanger? I know some of the e guys once they go killer chiller they dumb the exchanger.

we use crimp on fitting for the KC instead of the screw clamps.

update

Well, they ordered the last of the exhaust piping last week. All other installation work is done. We're going to use a Gibson stainless 3" dual in/out muffler with internal x-pipe to dampen the sound, but other than that straight through turbo back. I would expect (hopefully) the exhaust to be finished this coming week with only tuning left. Getting close.

I wish. Thanks for asking. They must be getting close because they called a couple days ago to collect half the total, ha. Hopefully next week. They should be almost done with the exhaust going on what they previous said. The guy said they were working on it, but I told him not to bother them for a time frame. Once that's done it'll just be the tune left. Hopefully next week. *crosses fingers

I got a call on my way in to work tonight. Everything is finished, save the tune. They had it up and running, checking for any leaks and i got to hear the exhaust over the phone. Sounds mean. It's scheduled to hit the dyno on Thursday for tune and dial in! I'll post more when I have it.

Well, I didn't get an update today. Hopefully tomorrow. I'm just going to assume they were too busy tuning.

Got a call this afternoon. It wasn't the best connection, but if I understood correctly, they got it tuned to 611whp and were going to go back and see if they could get some more out/fine tune it. No (reliable) torque numbers as of yet, they were getting spikes and were going to put the TCU tune in and restrap it down. They were supposed to give a call when it was finalized, but I didn't get one. I'm not sure if they aren't done/were too busy/etc. I'll let you know, when I know.
