When I press my fob it sets the alarm but my car doesn't lock, the boot wont
open either, any body got an idea.

So when you press the lock button on the remote, the alarm is active (blinking red on dash central door lock switch) however the doors aren't physically locking?
Or do you mean the alarm will sound by pressing the Panic button on remote, but the lock and trunk release buttons on remote have no response on vehicle?

If you have more than one key, try the other, and fob batteries are the simplest place to start. The fob has a battery check led that blinks after pressing the lock button.
Issues with the door locks and trunk on the vehicle side are often PSE pump related.

Thanks guys, I put a new battery in at first. Pressing the lock on the fob
flashes the lights but the lock buttons don't go down, and if you open the
door the alarm goes off. I will try the other key tonight but I have a feeling
I had trouble before from a pump in the boot getting wet.
