2005 sl55 amg navigation unit reset
Hi guys,
my name is Emil, I have a problem with my Nav unit and I hope you can help me out. I have a 2005 SL55 AMG. The problem is that my Navigation unit does not work anymore. It just shows the arrow on the screen but no streets or anything else it's completely bank except the arrow. Also if I want to enter a destination I can get into the menu but none of the options : like new destination, last address or anything else is active. So I took out the disc which is an original 2005 version and when I put it back in the navigation unit in the trunk I get the message Loading Software but nothing happens, the progress bar does not advance at all even after half an hour of running the car. Sometimes when I start the car even with the disc in I get the No DVD available message. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
